Midi X Spomb Diving Rocket, White
Since the SPOMB was invented, classic rocket baiting has become history. Excellent aerodynamics help the angler reach distances when baiting that are difficult to match even with lead and rigging. The innovation of the SPOMB comes from the bait loading method. Basically, it is closed inside the rocket, which allows the angler to use any type of bait, from seeds to live bait. The design has been improved compared to the classic Spomb models, being suitable for casting at extreme distances.
The X model has a unique shape, designed for maximum weight on the front, an essential attribute for casting at appreciable distances. The ideal weight for power casting at a distance: 5 – 5.5 oz (142g - 155g depending on the type of bait with which it was loaded). The bait rocket floats thanks to the high-density foam that Spomb specialists have introduced into the plastic body. The buoyancy of the new model eliminates the need to use dedicated floats, which significantly improves aerodynamic properties. The manufacturer's recommendation is to use only dedicated Spomb or Spod rods to bait with Spomb bait rockets and to use a resistant leader (textile or monofilament) to reduce the risk of breakage during casting.
Instructions for use:
- 1. Attach the rocket's spinner to the front of the bait rod;
- 2. Hold the racket horizontally, with the Spomb logo facing up;
- 3. Press the red button on the top of the rocket, and it will open;
- 4. Fill the lower cavity with bait. (CAUTION: Do not put bait in the compartment of the mechanism that triggers the opening of the rocket);
- 5. Close the rocket. When the rocket closes, a confirmation click is heard. Do not force the rocket to close if you have put too much bait!;
- 6. Launch the rocket in a smooth motion, at an angle of approximately 45 degrees to the water surface;
- 7. Upon impact with water, the rocket will open, releasing the contents. If it does not open, after recovery, turn the red button on the top of the rocket from the inside. Depending on this adjustment, the rocket will open more or less easily upon impact with water.
- ATTENTION: For safe use of the Spomb racket, the manufacturer recommends the use of a protective thimble.
